DVSA: Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC) Periodic Training Changes
How will the CPC periodic training changes affect drivers?
As of 4 January, Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC) periodic training will be monitored by the DVSA to avoid drivers repeating the same sessions. The exception to this is where It helps with their development, for example in maintaining a qualification such as driving dangerous goods.
If the DVSA find unnecessary repetition of modules on drivers’ records, they may take action which could include revoking a driver's Driver Qualification Card (DQC).
