How Will Brexit Affect Haulage & Trade?

I have recorded a short video to bring you up to speed with the UK’s progress through the transition period towards our exit from the single market and the customs union at the end of this year. On 12 June Michael Gove confirmed that the UK will not be seeking an extension of the transition period beyond the end of the year. This leaves just two options. We must either agree a Free Trade Agreement fairly sharpish or the UK will leave the EU Customs union with ‘no deal’. If you are one of the estimated 250,000 operators who are currently doing business exclusively in Europe but have made no preparations for Brexit, this video is designed to give you an idea of the practical considerations for your business.
